Yesterday evening, Nick and I finished spreading the mulch heap onto the garden beds. Ten cubic yards of mulch. Spread, bit by bit, bucket by bucket. Like ants we worked a little each day. And we're done!!!
Congratulations on being done spreading the mulch! I love your description of your work clothes - the 1985 denim and the science conference t-shirt. We all have clothes like that which is what makes it so funny :)
I sometimes dread our yearly truckload of mulch, and yes you have to psych yourself up for it! But the reward is everything looks so great after it's all spread! Because of weather we usually can't do ours until sometime in May. Congratulations on finishing yours.

Hooray, done with mulch! Will you be planting flowers or veggies or both?
We're tackling our backyard landscaping also and it seems like it will never end.
