Another Version of Hot Patterns 1090

This time, in cotton knit and long sleeves.

Actually, this is my muslin. I decided, as a result of this practice piece, to shorten the skirt one inch. I also shortened the bodice, and decided to make the sleeves short. (See previous post for the 'final' version).

This is wearable, but is not a 'go to' favorite. It definitely needs to be worn with high heels so as to avoid any 'frump factor'.

I can definitely see this as your practice piece...I think a great printed scarf or a funky necklace along with your suggestions would definitely make this work wearable!

Happy New Year!

I can certainly see what you learned from this piece in the absolutely gorgeous stretch velvet dress. I agree with Carolyn that this could totally work with a fabulous necklace or scarf and the heels.
