CopyCat, CopyCat

In all the best ways, I copied Rhonda's Circle Skirt, shown here.

I made my skirt so it would rest right above my hip bone. (Forgive the top of my undies showing at the waist area above the skirt waistband on your left. I could have photoshopped it out, but I know you understand.)

Rhonda lives over 1000 miles away from me, so I trust we will not be seen wearing the same skirt!

I finished this with a simple rolled hem on the serger, lined it with a lightweight cotton, and really enjoyed wearing it to work today, along with a lime green cardigan (not shown). I wanted you to see the skirt in it's simple state, along with my grey tank top and high heeled sandals.

I got to like this skirt more and more as I wore it today. It moves so nicely when I walk. I anticipated this, due to the color and pattern, but it attracted quite a bit of attention today. A total stranger, plus 4 different people I work with (who normally never comment on my clothing) commented on this skirt today. And among those who did not comment, I saw eyes travelling down to look at it all day, whether people commented or not.

I got the sense that this skirt made the day a bit more colorful not only for me but for those who were around me.

Love this skirt and the fabric. I'm still scratching my head about how you (and Rhonda) lined up the "city" on your circle skirt. Whole outfit looks great!

You look wonderful in your new outfit. I really like the colors you chose to for your top and heels to coordinate with the skirt.
