Thanks to those of you who commented on the previous post. I started a website, Cat Fur Studio, back in 99/00, I think, and subsequently started this blog. My reason for creating the website (and later, the blog) was (and is) to connect with, solicit and share ideas and inspiration with other people who sew clothing.
As the saying goes, "it is what it is".
Thanks again for sharing your thoughts. I appreciate your time.

I'd miss you Barbara if you didn't post. I follow a fair amount of blogs and try to comment when I can. I know what you mean about no feedback though...I went for along time with nothing. I'd see some people get like...89 comments and I'd feel lucky to get 2 or 3! I just write for me and if anyone else wants to read it great. I enjoy your blog so glad you are going to continue. Mary

Barbara - I totally get what you're feeling though...and its good to get some positive reinforcement from other sewists...I will try to be better at leaving a comment! I have to admit that I just couldn't make bloglines work...I think I have techie issues *LOL*...and until blogger came out with the follower thingy, I kinda floated around the internet hoping to find something to read...
Please don't stop your blog! I love it. I do try and leave a comment whenever I can.

I know how you feel about the comments. I just started a blog and I was hesitating a lot as I thought: Well, is anyone going to read this at all? Why am I doing this?
Because, if you just want a journal, then I can do it in a little book or on my PC in a file.
Please go on writing.

I've visited your blog many times (someone told me that's called "lurking" and it's rude-sorry) and always been inspired by your beautiful work. Also, I should thank you for introducing me to Jomar! I do so much more sewing now that I can find interesting affordable fabric.
I'm glad you started your website and blog. Several years ago I found PR and hence found several PR members' site. It was like a little piece of heaven to me. A virtual world where creative people shared their project experiences. Like everyone who left feedback on the previous post, I enjoy your blog; it's a source of inspiration and your provide some guidance on how to complete custom garments.
