I made that pattern almost 20 years ago as a costume. I remember it being very, very low in front. Did you raise the neckline, or have I just gotten less modest? The older I get, the more I wonder why I didn't flash a little more skin when I was younger. Like the Parking Lot song (Big Yellow Taxi?) says, "Don't it always seem to go, you don't know what you've got til it's gone".
Because my computer keeps stopping and (according to my computer savvy son) buffering during your video, I prefer the pictures and text. But you do a great job at both.
I LOVE your videos: seeing the garments in action adds so much to getting a feel of how they hang, etc. Maybe you could add a few detail pictures and one full shot of yourself in the garment, for those who can't upload vids easily - would probably help with referencing, too.
PS: your dress is gorgeous. Regency garments are among my favourite and I love how it looks a little "period", but still perfectly wearable. Very tempted to get this pattern!

This was my favorite dress style to wear thru High School and first year college in FL 1970-73 using the hand printed fabrics from a place in Key West at that time. I have looked for a similar pattern for a year now wanting to make it again for summer. I hadn't seen the Folkwear pattern. Thank you so much -it's perfect and looks great! Now just to order the pattern.
Oh, Darcy, Oh Elizabeth...er..sorry, I do love me some Regency! Great dress. Funny, when I collected and made Folkwear in the 70's and 80's, I don't recall size 14 being small. Ha ha! Boy have things changed for me!

I really like the idea of posting video of the completed projects. We can get an all around view of the cut/fit/style. Photos are great, but the video is a great added view. Thanks for posting.

I like the video feature - you could augment it with some stills showing details of the garment (like the little ribbon whatchamacallit) perhaps.

I agree with Kay that a combo of video and pics for the more intricate details (such as the bra strap) would be wonderful.
