Do you like it better "before".....
Or does it look better, with a belt, "after"...?
To my eye, in the mirror, while wearing, it looked better with the belt. But upon reviewing these photos, I think the 'before' shot, sans belt, is better.
What do you think?

I like it better without the belt. With the belt, you lose the graceful drape of the dress.
A agree with Liana and you: looking at the 2 photos it's better without the belt, because of the drape-shape of the dress, but... take other picts look carefully at you, at you back and if you feel more comfortable with the belt... keep the belt!
I like it both ways actually. It looks more casual without the belt and more "finished" with the belt. I'd wear it without the belt on weekends and with the belt to work.
I like it better without the belt. It looks drapier, as Liana says.
I prefer it without the belt. The pleating at the neck gives a nice vertical line, which is broken up by the belt, without providing any compensating body definition. It just creates bunches above and below the waist.
I like it without the belt. Maybe if the belt were looser just resting in your hips?
I like it both ways, but I vote for a red belt to match your shoes!
I like the dress better without the belt. Belting this dress distorts the neckline facing and pleats by dragging the neckline down. Change the color of your cami for a nice pop of color.
Without the belt is more flattering. Yikes, didn't I make and wear this dress in the 70s or 80s. On you it looks good. At my age it would look like I was having a flash back. :-)
I think it looks great either way.
How about a belt in a V-shape in a brighter colour? Otherwise, the picture without belt is better. Ann
I like the idea of a belt, but the one you're wearing might be too large?
